Vic Murphy has been involved in action sports for most of his life, including racing motorcycles at nine years old and as a teenager marking the trail on snowmobile for the 1,000 mile Iditarod sled dog race through the interior of Alaska. Vic's love for extreme sports led him to having one of the first dealerships for snowboards and skateboards in Alaska in addition to being a professional break dancer in his teens.

Upon moving to California during his senior year of high school, Vic fulfilled his dream and became a pro bicycle freestyle rider, winning contests and helping to revolutionize BMX into what we see today in the X-games. Vic's involvement in the action sports culture and lifestyle has given him a unique platform to share Gods love.

Vic travels throughout North America and overseas including Africa, Europe, and the Middle East speaking to youth groups, school assemblies and large events with Luis Palau Festivals and Horizon Festival of Life with Mike Macintosh. Vic also makes frequent appearances on Extreme Life TV and has appeared on Fuel TV, ESPN, NBC, Steel Roots, JCTV and is a featured rider on the Luis Palau DVD "Livin It", with Stephen Baldwin which has distributed over 100,000 copies. Vic has also been featured in all the major BMX magazines and the most popular BMX video series Road Fools.

Vic is an ordained Pastor and serves on staff as an assistant to Pastor and San Diego Police Chaplain Rob Glickman at Horizon Christian Fellowship in downtown San Diego, a non-denominational church. Vic is also a partner evangelist with the Luis Palau Next Generation Alliance. He recently formed Action Sports Outreach, which is a non profit ministry of Christian extreme sports athletes committed to impacting the world by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ.
