National speakers will IMPACT YOUR WORLD

They will be at three locations – “A” – Butler Building  “B” – Tubbs building and “C” – Stage tent

There will be  a few unplugged concerts in the workshops where artists will share about their songs and life —

Andrew Palau
Title:   How to share Gods love with the world.

Recent outreaches have taken him across the United States and to Rwanda, Romania, Egypt, Mexico, India, Poland, and again Jamaica. He has shared the Gospel with thousands, and at every opportunity he demonstrates his father’s same passion and love for Christ and for evangelism.

Title:  “A Story of Hope”

Subject:    Prayer life…..Stories of loss and adoption

Bio:
Wendy Palau at 25 years of age, God mercifully revealed Himself and she experienced His radical transformation. She and her husband Andrew have since dedicated their lives since to serving churches around the world through city-wide evangelistic outreaches.Under Wendy’s compassionate direction, mission teams join efforts in Africa, Haiti, or her beautiful homeland of Jamaica.  Wendy and Andrew have been married 19 years, and her primary job is raising their three children: Christopher, Jonathan, and Sadie.

Title:  Human Trafficking: Become the eyes and ears of your community

Subject:   This training session is brought to you by 3Strands Break Free Education, it is an overview of human trafficking and how this crime occurs domestically. During this session, we will discuss how to become the eyes and ears of your community by understanding what human trafficking is, the warning signs and how to report this crime. This is an interactive training, filled with stories, examples and videos. Make sure not to miss out on this one-of-a-kind training, we look forward to seeing you there!

Ben Sledge – WWE
Title: Defeating the destruction of pornography

Subject:
Ben will be teaching on the subject of Pornography and Accountability that includes first-hand testimony, statistics, biblical references, world and cultural views as well as the psychological and spiritual components of addiction and breaking free. A time of Q&A will follow after his presentation.

Workshop:
Global Hope – Heather Mercer
Title:
Loving Muslims to Christ

Subject: Heather Mercer has served in the Middle East and Central Asia since 1998. In 2001, while serving in Afghanistan, Heather and seven of her teammates were captured by the Taliban for sharing the Gospel, tried for the capital crime during the post-9/11 war on terror, and miraculously released after 105 days of captivity through the prayers of the saints and the bravery of the United States Special Forces. Her story can be read in the books Prisoners of Hope and Kabul 24 or seen in the documentary Kabul 24.

Subject: Jeff and his team has spoken to more than 1 million students from 40 countries and 40 states and taken over 5,500 people on Volunteering Expeditions, but their real passion is reaching students. StudentReach mentors more than 50 students each week from continuation schools to refugee students and even homeless youth. StudentReach wants to help others replicate the ALIVE mentoring/coaching system in their own communities and talk about how we can jump start outreach to hurting teenagers in your community. www.studentreach.org

Subject: Women all over the world have one thing in common, they oftentimes feel trapped.
Trapped by their past, trapped in other’s expectations, trapped in depression, trapped by their self-sabotaging fears, trapped by eating disorders and addictions, trapped by anger and resentment, trapped in toxic relationships, trapped by abuse, trapped by loneliness…But it doesn’t have to be this way. In fact, it shouldn’t be this way! Jesus set us free from bondage on the cross. So why aren’t we living in freedom experiencing His abundant joy, peace and grace?
Don’t get stuck in the “Up until now”. Instead, start focusing on “From this moment on!”.

Subject: Learn what dozens of Sonoma County Churches are doing in partnering to minister, and bring hope and lasting change to hundreds of homeless people.  Learn Biblical principles of compassion and how to engage your congregation in making a difference in your community.

Helping, not Hurting – Principles of effective compassion toward the poor and needy.
 
Subject:
Have you ever tried to help someone in need, only to have it backfire?  Have you ever wondered if giving to someone in need was really helping?  Have you ever felt like avoiding needy people because you didn’t know what to do?  If so, this workshop is for you.  Through this class you will learn about poverty and care for people and how you can become a leader in your church in effective compassion.

Finding Freedom From Guilt and Shame

Subject: If God says I am worthy of love and acceptance, why do I feel so much shame and guilt?  Where do these feelings come from?  How do I gain freedom over them?  How can I be my authentic self and live like God intended?
 
Bio:
David has been a pastor for over 38 years.  His varied work and ministry experiences have equipped him for the helping ministry God has allowed him to have. “I get out of bed to help people, because if it matters to you and to God, I want to be there.”
His desire is to give everyone he comes in contact with a message of hope
that personal growth and life change can happen through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
